Founder
Asiakom’s Founder, Mr. Kimis established the firm in February 1991 to develop and manufacture communication equipment in Malaysia, with in-house R&D and manufacturing facilities. Asiakom was awarded the ‘PIONEER’ status by the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) for being one of the few companies in Malaysia with such capabilities. With changes in technology and based on railway track experience in India, Mr. Kimis pivoted Asiakom into a railway solutions company starting with our very first project in 2002, with Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Berhad and the Ministry of Transport in Malaysia.
Today, Asiakom has completed more than 13 railway projects successfully over the last 18 years, as an active and successful firm in the railway construction sector – fully committed to delivering and executing our projects headed by experienced professionals in the industry.
