Asia Communication & Electronic Sdn. Bhd – 199101002477 (Asiakom) was originally established in February 1992, by our Founder – Kimis Velu Arumugam, to develop and manufacture communication equipment in Malaysia. With in-house R&D and manufacturing facilities equipped with more than a 100 modern machineries and was awarded the ‘PIONEER’ status by the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) for being one of the few companies in Malaysia with such capabilities.
Since 2001, Asiakom has diversified its core business activities to railway construction (Track & Signalling), renewal & strengthening of track and supply of railway materials. Asiakom has highly experienced in-house expertise to tackle any magnitude of railway works; track works, construction of bridges with pile foundation and pre-stressed concrete girders, railway signalling works and railway overhead electrical traction works, road works. With 2 decades of experience, we are entering our third decade with a renewed mission supported with a new management team and key equipment, such as flash butt welding machines, locomotives, wagons, trailers etc. to take us into the next phase of our growth in both rail and road infra works.
